Narrow until it's uncomfortable
A specific problem for a specific group is what gets recognized.
Coaching skill and client numbers are barely related. That's uncomfortable, and it's the whole problem.
Nearly every stuck coach is too broad. “I help people reach their potential” describes nothing a person searches for or recognizes as their own situation, so nobody responds.
The second issue is volume of conversations. Ten a week, consistently, changes a practice. Posting on social media instead feels productive and usually isn't, at least at the start.
The third is price. Underpricing attracts clients who don't commit and leaves you resentful within three months. We set prices from capacity and real numbers instead of nerves.
